awesome, thank you. I spent 33 cents on one, that fit a bit loose, then spent $3 on a stainless steel one that fits the hole better, but is freaking huge. Didn't really like the look of either.

Thats good. Looks like what I bought. I just thought it looked a bit like a sore thumb, since you don't even see the cotter pin when its in there.

all bout personal preference I sppose? I actually really like the way it looks. That and its easier than the cotter pin to deal with, so for me its form and function. And considering the rear axle comes off twice basically every other week, sometimes more, its pretty useful. Id prolly have broken a cotter pin by now.

You are correct about it being easier to use. I just put a brand new cotter pin in there, but kept the hinge pins I bought. Probably go back to them next time I have to remove the cotter pin.

Like I said at the start, R clips are much nicer to use for yourself and whoever does your tyres.

Yeah, that one's nice and small, even looks like you bent the top over a bit. The ones I got were huge. I tried to find one that fit the hole through the axle without rattling around, but the clip ended up being so big I thought it looked goofy.
