bike came off better than me
3rd trackday of the new season and only went and highsided at the nurburgring on tuesday. . cracked left ankle, and ligament damage in the left shoulder and right knee so i,m sidelined for a few weeks(gotta cancel Assen and Bilster Berg) .
just saw the bike and i have to say that the carbon casings and R&Gs have once again saved my baby. rear cowling is cracked, left rearset is fekked .carbon bellypan and carbon engine casing both have tasty holes in them but nothing else. swingarm and fork protectors did their job and the frame protector is nicely rubbed down by about 2 inches(GOD BLESS R&G RACEPRODUCTS) i really cant recomend their crash bungs enough its just a shame they dont make anything for us riders

Oh man, that sucks. Always hate to hear someone went down.
On a positive note, you live to fight another day!
And what's more, so does your lady! (with a minimal damage)
Got R&G frame sliders myself & I must say EVERYONE who crash - tested them, speaks very highly of them!
Only, I haven't fitted them yet! I haven't done it since drilling is required, and I am reluctant... To my mind, it kinda defeats the purpose
But your post will promp me to do it rather sharpish though... I think I will invest in some aftermarket fairings and drill that instead
Get well soon mate!

Really hate to hear it. Heal up fast so you can get the 10 back together and get back at it.

Good to hear the bike is OK. Oh, and you too, lol. Heal up man. Look at it like now you have an excuse to mod the bike even more. Good way of justifying it especially if you got a significant other.

on the sprint course at the nurburg. just before the valvoline curves ,they open up a sharp off camber right which takes you back on to the michelin curve. last turn off the day.

cheers m8 .
think the bike is gonna go all carbon if i can buy it without the other half find out
not much point trying to get the fairing pieces repaired if i can find some bargain carbon
the rearset has pissed me right off as they were gilles and to buy replacement parts for them is almost as expensive as a complete replacement so i may have to look for another brand of rearsets

You ain't riding hard enough.
