Was there supose to be another "White Washer" on the other side?
and i remember someone saying that the Washers could fall out.
This one will Not fall out.

I just took mine off an hour ago to send it in you have it right only 1 white washer. White washer on the one side, just the metal washer on the other.

thermosman is still with Ohlins. They did not part ways. I spoke with the guy today and sent mine in. 77 bucks shipped to the door.

Just tap the screws lightly and they will fall out... make sure you keep the washers and don't lose them, when you put the damper back on it MUST have play again like before. Maybe you need new washers then, but you wont know until you put it back on if it is to tight and DO use a Torque wrench to put it back on.

Another gen4 owner had an issue recently where the plastic washer wore out and the bottom of damper rubbed the mount badly. Ruined the damper. Make sure when you put the damper back on the damper moves upward but does not contact the mount at all. The washer only goes on one way and overtightenibg it will deform the washer so just a heads up.

TQ spec is in the service manual you can download for free on here I have it saved on my computer, saved on my phone and I even printed out EVERY page in case big brother bans the free sharing of info that companies charge for. Download it man.
