Anything past like 30mph and my visor is down. I don't like the wind in my eyes and I see all the bugs on my helmet/bike, don't want that on my face.
I laugh at people with half helmets, they gotta get a healthy serving of bugs.

Why would you not want to cover the brake during a high speed wheelie?

I'm no wheelie expert, but you wanna cover the rear break to avoid looping the motorcycle in the event you get the wheel too high and rolling off the throttle is not going to be sufficient to bring the wheel back down.

first day EVER on the highway i tried to keep up with my bro whos been riding for 7+ years and went to wide on turn and caught some sand, panicked and jamed the rear brake...im pretty sure you guys can figure out the rest.
moral of the story, NEVER try and keep up always ride with in your OWN means.

Same here.. I'll even roll on the freeway at night with my visor up if I have my dark smoke visor on.. Wind doesn't really bother my eyes. The occasional rock can be a bitch though.

Same here dude. Im not big on visor down, so I even ride visor up on the freeway half the time. Just depends on the day really. Nothing much beyond that though. Rock or bug, thats it. I think with the aero's of the bike and my lid though, it deflects 98% of stuff cuz I think Ive got a bug or rock or something to the face visor up 5 times tops

I didn't learn I could go faster until I followed someone who was much better then me in a run through the twisties. Made me a much better rider. But I can understand that at the same time. He could of just not been that great so me being new and keeping up wasn't huge. But it did make me a much better and faster rider.
