EDIT - Has been shipped by USPS this morning (2012-04-10) to tacp_daddy

Alright, I have Driven Axle Block Sliders, very high quality, never installed.... In Black.

I bought these for my race bike, but am going to go a different route at a later time. Beautiful pieces, google it if you don't know what they are and want to see what they look like.

Free to an ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY member male or female, Marines (preferred since I'm a former Marine), but Navy, Air Force, Army, National Guard, and yes, even the Coast Guard.....

First person to post back (no PM's) gets it..... Must be verifiable through email, a simple pic with the 4th gen bike and uniform or id....anything to prove your serving.

And yes, even with my extremely tight budget, I will still cover shipping. It just might take me a couple of days, got a busy 3 day weekend ahead.....

Damn, I woke up.....typical tired Monday morning, came to work, saw this thread.... Realized I forgot to bring the friggin axle block sliders, will bring tomorrow and ship during lunch.

Also, stay tuned..... I may have another item, the military men/women that have a black 4th gen may be interested. I will post up a new thread if it goes through.

No worries lol. The post office on base in Germany took today off anyways :p

I'm holding off on my 520 conversion for the sliders so I don't have to take the wheel off twice. Yes, I'm lazy :D

Haha, sounds like me, I was too lazy to remove the rim stripes so I am changing some of my decals to add a little green back to it.

Stay tuned.... I just hit up a sponsor.... waiting on a reply, if they are unable to help, I will give away another personal bike part of mine.

These are going on by this weekend at the latest. Uber sexy and will match my black Driven sprocket.

You da man! Pics to come by this weekend

Finally got them on. Simple to install, but getting the right chain tension with the new chain/sprocket was a pain in the ass :/

Yes I know, I flung lube all over the fucking place. I'll get around to cleaning it off :p

Slo, that was an awesome gesture!!!! I was in the same mood awhile back. I was eating at Denny's and saw a group of active duty personnel enjoying their meal. I finished my meal and quietly got the attention of their waitress and told her that I would like to pay for their meal. Paid for their meal and left. It felt good to do that.

Thank you

First, thank you for this post. It was pretty freaking awesome. I was just talking about this forum in another post and this confirms what I wrote.

Just signed up, and was just about to order these. Wow.. I literally looked at the site from nicecycle. Well if anyone finds these in black and realizes they don't need them again, I just posted a topic in general too. Brand new rider 3 months, and I have a '12 ZX10R lol.

If anyone finds good deals again let me know!!

Tim
