Riding today noticed engine being snatchy on the throttle whereby holding revs it would bog down then come back again. Thinking to myself, hmmm bad batch of fuel I purchased from my last ride. Shaking bike a bit and it was ok but decided to play it safe and proceeded to drain the tank when I got home. Whilst at it, the air filter got a good clean and re oil as well.

Lots of dead little critters in the filter. Put her back together with 10Ä of new fuel and she seemed to be purring ok on the stand. Raining outside so I wait until the weather gets a bit nicer before taking her out again for another ride. Gave her a little spot clean as well as doing the chain whilst I was at it. It was fun to give her a little wrenching and clean. Irony was I remember a year or so ago I bought fuel from that place I suspected of tainted fuel in the bike but for the car and it had troubles as well. We informed the place but seems like they don't care. Last time I purchase fuel from there. Least bike is easier to deal with than the car ))

Roll on Winter and money and she gets a good work over.

i got out really lucky. Just a clean fracture of the collar bone and lots of soreness/tenderness and bruising. All my gear did its job protecting my ribs and spine and i'll be riding again soon (pending financial ability to repair the bike!)

Tearin down the street legal one for some much needed maintenance. Valves, suspension, coolant hoses, and a few other things on the list to do.
