Again bad...how long in the tooth is the bimmer? iirc the prototype for the s1000rr goes back to what 2008 and the s1000rr hit the streets as a 2010 right? So it's older than the 4th gen. You said the 10R hasn't been updated since 2011 (yet it has) which is a reason to knock it yet the bimmer is even older but that's ok? Why? BNG? Tweeks just like the 10R? Hand warmers that you make fun of?

Help me out here...you seem so inconsistent.
Yes, KTM is a loser company. And this is WHY our super bike Kawa, CBR, GiXXers and yes, even the dork cross will continue to be the ONLY foundation for real bikes that handle excellent, perform excellent and totally dial in with riders that study the sport and practice everyday when possible; and the ONLY bike that is true in all aspects is the superbike.

My only experience is with a Ktm 2001 dirt bike. It was the only dirt bike that leaked at the counter shaft sprocket. That is BS. I have 35 year old Hondas that are solid, no leaks etc. And to boot, the part was hard to come by. I sold it and moved on the Yamaha and it has been time tested, proven to perform and not break or leak.

I can't say Yamaha is perfect. 2013 Yamaha R1 clutch ingagement sucks ass from the factory. Lunging, jerky etc. Kawasaki has it figured out.

They had issues in the past but getting better with time. It is the only manufacturer out there still supporting the development of 2 stroke. A friend of mine just ordered a new KTM 250 EXC TPI . Fully injected 2 stroke. Now that is bad ass! They also use a counter balancer to reduce vibrations coming from the 2 stroke engine. Really fucking cool.

I wish they comeback to the sportbike scene. The RC8 was a bad ass looking bike and they were bringing support to racing. The also doing well in MotoGP with the RC16. Fuck the haters!

That looks really cool. I am more of a 450 4 stroke lover. For motocross, a 450 four stroke is King for me. 250 2 strokes take more energy to ride fast.
