Gen 4 shift linkage

I have a lot of slack side the side and forward and back everything seems tight is there any type of fix for this?

That's the way it is from the factory. It's a slip-fit bushing type of pivot arrangement on the pedal. You can't tighten it down any more because the bushing has the clearance built in to keep it from getting too tight. The only way to fix this is to get an aftermarket set with a ball-bearing pivot or take apart the OEM one and replace the bushing with a tight tolerance ball-bearing. But you'll have to source the parts yourself and make it work. There was a thread and another member who did the hard work for you on this and I'll see if I can dig it up. He does great work that Spaz guy does!
