Fixing my stolen bike!

Been reading this form for the last 2 years and figured it was the perfect time to post and ask for insite, tips, dos/donts and to pretty much see what you think. So after 6 months or so of reading about the zx10s I broke down and bought a 2009 back in June 2016. The thing was my baby and always pristine, but traveling for work left it at my cousins with his and my friends bikes to keep it company. Then in October '16 it disappears the day I get back in town. My cousin noticed it missing but thought I had gotten in town early and picked it up so he left for work and went about his day. Well the night comes and still no site of me so he gives me a call... Right as I'm stepping out of the airport. Needless to say my bike was gone and I was heart broken (and a little butt hurt it wasn't locked up, but it was my choice to leave it there instead of my house because of sketchy roomates at the time) well the cops said it was most likely gone and I would never see it again, until April '17 when I got a call from detective Evens. MY BIKE WAS BACK!! At least thats what I thought till I saw it. My bike had been stolen by a drug dealer that had been using it to run heroin and crack according to (and off the books) detective Evens. The thing that sat before me did resemble a street bike and it was a zx10r but it had been road hard and put away wet. The man that stole my bike, lets call him piece of shit or pos for short, had butchered my baby. It had been layed down on both sides, parts where painted rattle can metallic blue wile still on the bike, the front rim didnt match, it was leaking oil and missing a few pieces wile also having others added and that was just my first glance. Come to find out the farings had about half of the screws and my wiring was cut and spliced in more than a few places. I hung up my helmet and put it at my parents because I couldn't look at it. But now the time has come to make things right, I picked up my bike and brought it home this morning then proceeded to tear it down and hop on Amazon to get what I need to breathe some life back into her. My end goal would be a street/track bike that can keep up with a modern zx10. So here are my questions to you.
1) I'm planning power commander, full straight pipes, k&n race air filter, remove the secondaries and do the 1/5th throttle mod but what else is needed w/out cracking the motor or is it impossible?
2) where can I get the best bang for your buck fairing and rims? (you'll see why)
3) where should I buy my new gauge and is it possible to change it with another that just bolts on?
4) can I do the clutch pack and springs myself?
5)what in the f**k did I get myself into!
I would love to get your guys input and let me know what you think or if you see something I should look out for please let me know and any questions you have I will answer the best I can. I know I forgetting a lot but its 1am out here and I'm beat, thanks for reading!
O and if you guys really want ill get the police case files on my bike and post those, it just takes a couple weeks to get but I did it for my insurance company already so I know I can do it again.

Got a couple questions for you pros out there!
1) does anyone have experience with the Amazon stator and crank case covers fromTCMT, SMT MOTO ect. Do they fit well and what the diffrence between the mag and aluminum. I know the mag is lighter but is there a fit or impact rating difference?
2) does anyone have a bazzaz z-fi tc? I was lookong at it and like the idea of an all in one controller but I'm wondering how well the traction control really works since it reads rpm to control it, and how does its fuel mapping compare to a power commander?
3) whats a good front and rear spring combo for a heavyer rider? I'm around 205 rn but will be back at 220-230 mid summer and read that the stock springs are ment for riders around 170 or so.
I'm going to order my first batch of parts Friday so ill probably have a few more questions by then as well, thanks for looking and your input!

You had insurance on it? I cannot tell? Also, please use paragraphs. Nothing worse than reading a wall of text.
