Go to daredevil motorsports in sacramento, they're zx-10r experts and should have you fixed in a jiffy.

Address: 4555 Auburn Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95841
Phone: (916) 333-4730

Have you tried starting it before trying to changing gears?

Welcome to the party!

I'm in Florida, but if you're willing to pay the time I'll come out and fix it with ya. Or you can post a pic of your setup to see if you dorked something obvious up on it.

And since there's a PNF (Positive Neutral Finder) in the transmission, the only gear you should be able to select from neutral is 1st gear unless the rear wheel is spinning. So shifting up or down only applies depending on where you set it up for GP or standard shift patterns. Rocking the bike back and forth does nothing other than setting it up for a drop. There's nothing in the tranny that works like that. You usually have to tip a tranny extra for that kind of behavior. Or so I've heard.

I may not be perfect, but at least I don't ride a Suzuki.

Ridding the Internet of bad grammar, 1 post at a time.
