Who the hell designed those turn signals??!!! lol Looking too much like the 10 for me. I liked it when the 6's n 10's used to look different. Still the 636 is the baddest of the 600's though to me.

Glad the 636 is back! I wish it had the old undertail though. That was a clean look for the 636. I don't see a RR coming back for racing though. That sucks

Just an FYI (in response to the racing legality comments in the first post), WERA's rulebook allows the 636 in the C (600cc) classes.

It has ever since the previous 636 was around.

It is worded something like
"C-classes = I-4 water cooled bikes with a displacement up to 636cc's".

As far as World SuperSport, there is nothing to prevent them from racing the current bikes again next year.

In 2011, Yamaha won the World SuperSport championship on a 2009 R6 that had been sitting in storage for 2 years. It was Cal Crutchlow's former WSS bike and when he left, his bike was put into storage. Then it was brought back for Chaz.

They could very well race the current ZX6R in WSS next year.

chaotic exactly what I was thinking. The current 6 is still competitive so continue racing it until the economy is back. Then maybe 6RR will make a return...or maybe the 636 goes away again.

I agree with that. Sofuoglu won WSS this year and could easliy do the same next year on the same bike. I just would have thought that Kawi would have made the 600cc bike the same year just to get the advertising. You know the saying "Win on Sunday sell on Monday".

The 6RR was a 599cc (I think thats rigth) bike so Kawi could still race in WSB but the 636 for street use had more power.
