New widow Maker owner

Well, just picked up a 2005 with 19k from the original owner. Currently has an Akra slip on, flush front turn signals and smoked windscreen.

I already order some Supercorsas to throw on as well as woodcraft rearsets?. Gonna be doing the 09 zx6r front calipers and master with SS lines next.

I have wanted a Gen1 since they came out and I am soooooo pumped to finally own one. I plan to do some very tastful mods and keep it rubber side down.

And mods it shall get. I sadly got an email from woodcraft saying the Gen1 rearsets have been discontinued which sucks because I didnt want to go with Vortex rearsets but that seems like it is the only way for me to go, as it seems a lot of companies have stopped making a lot of parts for the gen1.

Well time for auch later update.

This is the current state.

I've got A LOT of fun stuff planned.

Currently the mods are:

Brembo rcs19
Galfer gp lines
Ebc hh pads
Bmc race filter
Annitori qs pro
Rebuilt stock forks, lowered as far as possible in the trees to gain ground clearance
Targa fender eliminator

Planned: (ie Purchased)
All new OEM gaskets for valve cover
Samco silicone coolant hoses
Full m4 gen3 exhaust (bought this for the header portion)
DJ pc5
Servo buddy
Mirror block offs
Crg bar end mirror
Pair block.offs
Secondary butterfly delete
Driven evo-spec -1/+3 520 kit with ek3d chain
50mm 7degree clip ons
Woodcraft lever gaurd
New plugs
New throttle cables
New r6 throttle tube

I am sure there is.more I am missing.

I am planning to switch the bike.over to black. I love the raw Titanium, but the fact it doesn't have clear coat sucks. Plus add that to the fact the PO (the original.owner at that) stored the bike outside, and the plastics are a bit.worse for wear. So I'm going to be getting a set of Chinese plastics in black, and re painted the OEM fairings the OEM titanium color.

5 mils or flush above the triple tree with the forks worked great for me on my 05 at the track... ymmv
Get that rear shock rebuilt while your at it too.
Pick yourself up some zx6r or zx14r calipers. Can get a set for less than $100 if you shop around.
Don't run EBC HH sintered pads.... after that brembo master and some new calipers, you'll be sorely disappointed. I personally highly recommend veshrah or ferodo. LDH has a really good writeup on brake pads.

I knew I forgot something. Zx6r calipers are already purchased. Good to know about the pads, will order vesrahs today.

I would run the forks flush but the galfer lines I got don't have enough slack and bind up. Gonna get some custom made so I can run flush.

Gonna be getting an entirely new rear shock at some point.

Oh, I love the color, but since it sat outside for 12 years the paint is trashed.
