So I have a question. I am sure it's happened to some of you 08 zx10 clutch blew apart. I am kinda stuck everything I have been reading 50% fix the clutch perfect the other half fix it and crank let's loose. I been working on bikes for 15 years never in my life heard of this happening I know they make a upgraded basket but still nervous 6k rpms to a complete stop something had to happen guess I am looking for ideas and or anwsers.

Yes, several people have had the clutch basket issue. Mostly due to drag racing it though. The search for lighter and lighter weight sometimes leads to compromises in places. The rivets in the clutch basket can be replaced to keep them from breaking again.

But if you don't tear down the motor and thoroughly clean the shrapnel out of the motor from the grenaded clutch, then you're destined for a crank failure.

I may not be perfect, but at least I don't ride a Suzuki.

What Dork said, it's extremely likely that there are bits in the engine that need to be cleaned out. Good luck!!
