2011 ninja 650 pipe question

buddy of mine bought a 2011 ninja 650, anyway he went to order a pipe and whoever he talked to told him he had to have a jet kit and had to remove cata converter. Now im almost positive and i read that bike is fuel injected, I havent ever heard somebody having to rejet with fuel injection? And do you have to remove cat converter just to install a slip on for this bike?

07 ZX10, -1 in front, speedohealer, GiPro, Leo Vince SBK carbon fiber exhaust, Lots of Spikes, seat cowl

Soon to have: BMC filter, PCIII, GPRV4 stabilizer, and upgrade brakes

Haha...Give that store a miss...

Injection, so no jetting to play with, it would need a Power commander or equivalent if anything which you don't need for a slip on.

Cat remains on with a slip on, hence the term slip on.

You only need a re tune with the cat removal .

Just fit the slip on and be done with it, I've sold plenty no issues.
