I take it you ditched the lock nut then? Feels good right? GREAT mod to do. I was at a dealership the other day and was messin around lookin at the new crop of bikes, squeezin the brakes and all. Went for the throttle on a 14R and went turn turn turn turn turn WOT. I was like, this thing freakin sucks!! then I remember why I thought that lol Thanks Rifleman, for ruining all other bikes that have the normal throw.

yeah i did clip one of the lock nuts off, but it didn't allow me to adjust the throttle cable any further than it did while it was there. So not sure about that, seems to be working fine as is, just a little harder to twist than it was, but no big deal. But yeah, id agree with never going back!

Holy hell

Just finished replacing my frame & did the 1/5 and DAMN...I took her out 4 hours ago & I'm still grinning!

Also, I cut my bracket so I could keep my throttle adjustment...here's a photo...

Just a quick question, can I assume that if my throttle is now quite tight to roll and wont snap back then its because I don't have enough slack and that once I get in under the tank and make the necessary corrections it will loosen up?

Cheers.
