Rear Sprocket Question.

I have just ordered a 40T 525pitch rear sprocket for my ZX.
Only after I bought it I realised that the stock sprocket on my ZX10 is 39 tooth.
Q1. Would 1 tooth make any difference to the way the bike accelerates (I`m guessing not)
Q2. Is 525 pitch the correct pitch?

Thanks
Matty

gonna drop your mph in each gear by like 3mph or so... may feel a little seat of the pants accell increase, but really +1 on the rear is nothing.

I am pretty sure the gen5 still uses 525 chain/sprockets. It will probably be stamped into your chain/sprockets

Yes 525.. +1 in the rear on a gen 5 is great actually. Not a huge difference but it will help make it a tad quicker. You won't really notice it but it will make taking off from a stop easier as well.
