If you google zx10r dyno charts there is a brilliant picture of 2012 zx10r versus all other superbikes available at that time.
It shows what im on about.
You can increase the torque but the shape of the power curve is always leaning towards top end power.
What i found interesting is the rc8 must be absolutely awsome on the road. Massive grunt and a very torquey power curve.
Infact id bloody love to get one.
The honda has good power curve for the road.
The zx10r is quite flat and good for track riding.
And the s1000rr is a beast.
It is a racebike, that's where it wants to be, above 10K. Not as easy or fun to ride on the street as the 2017 Z900 which has massive low-end/midrange but hits rev limiter at 11K, just where the Gen 4 wakes up. I have both.
A reflash will remove timing retard for the first few gears but the TC will still limit your power if ON.
The ZX-10R is not cammed or tuned for serious low-end.
