Can't you just drop to the required gear and modulate the clutch on the ZX10R?...like the Moto2 boys do

That's how you use the slipper clutch to back it in. Auto blip is different.

Sorry guys, Are you talking about "autoblipper", downshifting with OEM quickshifter, right?
I have one question: This feature exists in the OEM 2017 model, or needs the Racing ECU installed?
I read a lot about quickshifter on upshifting, but I can't find any article where explain if it works downshifting too.

Thanks.

Yui

No, you cannot use the autoblip in stock form. The OEM quickshifter is used for full throttle upshifts without touching the clutch lever. If the ECU is reflashed with the capability to autoblip, or the race ECU is installed, then the OEM quickshifter can be used for downshifting as well. Autoblip has to be able to control the throttle valves to momentarily rev-match the RPM on downshift. It requires more control than the upshift does. And unless that's enabled through the ECU, don't try downshifting without using the clutch like normal. That's a quick way to fuck up a gearbox.

I may not be perfect, but at least I don't ride a Suzuki.

Thanks for the info.
I'm planning to buy a new bike soon, and I'm between Zx10r and S1000rr (because this one have autoblip)
Do you know if exist any aftermarket module to have autoblip? Some ECU from bazzaz or dynojet maybe do this?
