2016 WSBK Just got more interesting

Yamaha to officially return to WSBK series in 2016:

Soup :: Yamaha Returns To WSBK in 2016 :: 09-23-2015

The new R1 against the new ZX-10R with Kawasaki the dominant incumbent Champion. Should be a good year in 2016!!!
SDsting likes this.

I may not be perfect, but at least I don't ride a Suzuki.

It should be a good test of the upgraded Kawasaki against the new Yamaha.

I was at a couple of track days recently and did not see a single new R1. Thought that was strange.

Should be awesome. Sadly, I was hoping to see Hayden's name attached to that.

Shut up and ride.

I just purchased the WSBK Videopass for the year, I guess it was about $25 or so, did not really look at the exchange rate, it was ~20 EU. Haven't ever watched a WSBK race but for that price you get the whole season, with some races to go, so it seemed like a good deal.

Hmmmm. As much as I would like to think that, they are probably going to win Moto GP and have already clutched the Moto America series. I think they stand to be pretty competitive.

I think they will be competitive. They played their cards right and didn't go to the world stage their first year with the bike

The bike itself should be competitive, but the riders not so much IMHO

Good choice to get back in wsbk in 2016 because everyone will be running the spec ecu which will level the playing field.
