I've found that a man's wallet usually determines if small gains are "worth the money". Personally, I need alot of bang for the buck. Conversely, I've seen guys with the resources go to extaordinary lengths because they could. I wish I was in the latter group :)

That is true. So if you have lots of money and can afford to do upgrades which make little difference compared to less expensive upgrades that make a world of difference, by all means its your money. I'm just saying that money would be better spend on brake lines and master cyl, than new rims with new rotors.

Yea, I am with you totally. But, I put all that stuff on my 6r because it fit with only a little machining. I am sure if you had a machine shop at your disposal, you'd not be making all sorts of crap that you couldn't have otherwise???

I wasn't going to just give the guy that bought my 7 all that stuff, so I did the next best thing, I used it. I had everything you could nearly put on a bike w/o going into the engine and a shock, too bad, because now I am getting the 10r, but I have a backup 6r (wifes) which I can put most of that stuff on, so it won't be that bad after all, if I can't find someone with a 7 that wants it. Ebay here I come, in 2 months!

The good thing for me is the fact I am in the Navy and overseas right now, going to be home late feb, of which I have already called my dealer and told him the first black one mine.

I am going to look for some of the carbon fibre wheels while I am in naples, not to mention new Dainese!!! Anyone need any bad ass italian stuff??

Yes, I do spend more money than most people on my bike, but I have a small sporting goods pro shop that provides me with my "play money" that I can spend on stuff that might not make that big of a difference. I guess if you don't have it, you want it. I hate wanting it!!!

Out!

If you are not smoking your pucks and scuffing your sidewalls, you are just not livin'!!!
