Deliveries are starting in Finland

Today I visited my local dealer in Finland. They had one green production bike on the shop which is used for maintenance training of the local engineers. He also told my that the first bikes are delivered to the customers on the next week (week 6). This is actually totally useless, because there is 20cm of snow on the ground and the driving season won't begin until April.

Still very good news for those of us who are wondering when they hell they are gonna get there. Finland is a long way for my house, but I'm hoping it's a sign that we are getting ares.

Sounds like logical business practice to me.

Hmmm, lets ship the first bikes to places where they can't possibly be used for weeks or even months. Only after everybody else in the world has bikes, then we will ship them to the milder climates.

Question Micsa,

Do you know if the (production)bike that was delivered had the modificated gearbox ?

Just in reguards to that and the modified gearbox, I think you have a subscription Mike for mcn.com, but tommarow they are going to realse the first test of the new production version of the ZX10R. I'm sure they are going to touch up on the gearbox troubles and rather or not there production model fixed it. I hope you have a subscription so you can post it here.
