There isn't a one

There isn't a comparison test in the 28/01/2004 issue against ZX-10R and GSX-R1000. Only I short column from the bike journalist who has driven the production bike in UK.

We have to wait some more...

no deal lads..... MCN took delivery of a final production TEN-R last thursday, however, thay have only ridden it slow around the car park.

they are now breaking in the bike on the dyno, so its loose enough for some performance testing. i've also heard from another source that MCN have so far only recorded 148 bhp at the wheel!!!??

more news as i get it..

My guess is your source is from www.bikeland.org, and I hold it with a grain of salt. For two reasons, MCN wouldnt want to give out that information until its in an issue at the stands cause its a selling point. The other reason is the person on the websites name is GixxerKing, and he only has 4 posts there. All of which debate horsepower figures or the new bike. Only believe what you see, and MCN will publish it soon enough. That guy might be right, but I doubt it.

Also, 148 at the rear is without ram air. Still pretty good, but significantly lower than expected.
