When I was at my checkout ready to pay the price went up to 94$... Ridiculous, price of shipping + tax.
Don't know if we can figur something out inorder to get arround the import taxes.
Maybe i could claim it's worth under $100? For all they know it's used merch. Is the shipping added to that? And does the buyer/seller paying it affect it either way?
We need some expertise! lol

If you claim something is only worth a certain amount, that's all that will be covered by the courier's insurance. So if it gets lost both parties would be SOL.

What added to my expense I used the services of a customs agent to get it out!I would have saved $100 but I wasn't confident in filling out the customs declaration form 1-I had never been in this situation before 2-I wanted the exhaust asap and figured he does this transaction daily and had a good relationship with Australian Customs 3-I wanted to be perefectly honest and open with all information given!the last thing I wanted was holes drilled in the pipe looking and checking for drugs just in case the Beet muffler packing looked odd

Thanks Helitech. Was thinking about that aspect as well, and even though I've never experienced the post office or customs actually losing anything, I couldn't take the hit for a grand.
Yeah Pete, not bad at all here man. Think it was mid 70's today and supposed to be around 50 for the low tonight. Fahrenheit though. Not sure what that works out to in Celsius lol

Oh yeah! Duh, lol
Our 32 freezing temp is your 0 (which Actually makes sense, unlike ours). Same with the metric system. It's so much more simple and logical than our dumb imperial system.

Come by, I'm near a train station that's about a 40 minute ride to Tokyo (20minutes to Yokohama). I'll trade you a free room for the shock!

Free bump!
