THE ZX10R Gets Black listed in my area.

I just found out the our Beast :D has been BLACK LISTED in my area.
This is all because some squids couldn't handle the power and were crashing them faster then Kawi can make them. I don't want to sound like someones old man, but people shouldn't be buying these machines as their first bike.( just my opinion ). I can just see my insurance premiums sky rocket next year because of this . F*CK just my luck. [smilie=B: How are things in your area?

I'm guessing he means that the insurance companies won't cover them anymore :? Kinda like certain types of dogs "pits, rots, etc) can't be had as a pet on some homeowners insurance. But don't take my word for it. Just giving a thought.

Save a horse, RIDE a Cowboy!

No problem bud. Black listed means that if anybody tries to insure
a 10r the broker will basically laugh in your face and say $5000.00/year
please. I'm with State Farm which is an American co. so hopefully
they wont follow the Canadian companies.

Shit, in South Africa, they up the premium for all motorcycles! The idiots on their Quads are crashing left, right and centre, and because of them, our monthly premiums are going up! "It affects motorcycles as a whole, it remains a high risk for us" is what I'm told! Total bullshit!

I know nothing about bikes!

Something way way way off. Canada is the problem. Completely political. Insurance companies do ONE thing: statistics. Motor insurance makes them money. Dots connected.

The author of the article that you're quoting from, assuming that you're being solid of heart, is a paid liar.
