Throttle Kit (Motion Pro Revolver 2)

Planning throttle Kit.

Anyone installed Motion Pro Revolver 2 Throttle Kit on Gen. 5? On stock and/or aftermarket bars? Kill / start switch? Opinions? Photos?

Thanks.

I put one on mines almost as soon as I got it.

I love them, and put them on most of my zx10Rs

I have it on my gen4. Fucking love it. Was hoping to put a kit on my zx14r but they dont make a kit for that bike. Said i would have to send the cables to them so they can fav something up.

What are the benefits of these guys? Increase smoothness? 1/4 turn throttle? Just curious. Haven't heard of them before but I have a gen 5 and will have to pick one up if it's worth it.

Main reason is quicker turn throttle, they come with various size reels so you can progressively decrease the required turn (helps prevent an accidental whisky throttle). I put one on my race bikes, mine just was installed on the ZX but I haven't been up to see the bike since it's been put on, so no pics but can get some next week when I'm up there.

Like honey badger said, reduces the amount of twist. Doesnt go by 1/4 measurements. Comes with 5 different reels that can be swapped out within a couple mins. 3 different size ones measured in various degrees and 2 progressive ones. Start out nice and easy but as you turn the throttle more, becomes more aggressive. The only thing i hate about it is the housing. I have one on my zx10r and zx6r and both housings hand a 90* where the cable goes into. Making it a bitch to route the cables to the originial location. The oem housing is more like a 70-80* bend. The brake reservior gets in the way.
