Thanks for photos and info. Installation looks pretty straightforward as per photos. Any tricks needed?

This is my 3rd one....I like it over stock because it feels solid/smoother, but not by much, but more than that I like adjusting the throttle controls along with changing gearing.

On average I use the 45mm or 50mm, depending on my gearing. Since I am stock right now I use the Orange 50mm. when I change up my gearing I might drop down to a 45mm.

The biggest trick is to take it all down and stop at the throttle bodies in the pics. From that point it will be sort of easy.

Have a few different size needle noses on hand.
Might have to bend the clip that holds the cables down to the sensor...and bend back tight after removal.

but Def have a MAGNET rod to get the clamp if you drop it LOL...trust me this can make your day go so south fast.

Other than that a long skinny head flat head screw driver helps also.

If they did not cost so much Id put one on every single bike to taylor your throttle control. Stock is one of the best, but this still a tad bit smoother.

I have them on stock and after market bars...after market bars are a little more difficult to fit tight, but the Revolver 2 is narrower now so its much better.

PS: i put the yellow zip tie on one of the cables (Either pull or return) so that it will be easier putting on and not mixing up.

I did the throttle kit install and I bent the clip that holds the throttle cables to the sensor. I spent some time bending it back but it just didn't want to go back to the way it was originally no matter how hard I tried. I'd rather just get a new one at this point; however, I combed the Kawasaki microfiche online and just can't seem to find it anywhere. Anyone have any idea what the part number on that little bugger is or what part diagram to look under?

FYI, the throttle line clip is not available on it's own. You have to buy the whole throttle body assembly to get one from Kawi so be careful with the clip. I fixed mine best I could since I'm not paying hundreds just to get a clip...

This is what mine looked like when I reinstalled it:

Is this kit the same as Gen4? I see part numbers are different but I'm struggling to see how it's actually different.

No not the same.

To tell the truth I have one of the earlier ones for Gen 5...like one of the first 20 made.
When I talk to the owner I ask him if I can just order a Gen 4. He said they were different just enough.

I had to wait about 2 weeks for him to get more parts in to build them.

I have a feeling a Gen 4 might work...just not as much cable slack.... id be surprised if there was more than 1.5 inchs difference.
