Sticker Upgrade

Hey people. Been meaning to post this up for a while now and haven't had the chance. Check this out though.

I love the KRT color scheme, with the exception of those red fork accents from Showa. I think they clash and don't match the otherwise nice green/black/white paint of the bodywork. The gas tubes near the calipers stood out more than the fork tops at the triple-tree for some reason. So I came up with an idea that was quick and easy and not permanent like paint. So I enlisted Blink to work his magic on these and help me make this a reality!

So, if anyone else likes this idea and wants to do the same on their bike, hit up Blink here and we can set you straight with his stickers!!! Or if you want anything else from him also.

Before then after...it's much better now....

To each his own. The zx10 race bikes have red accents with an overall green/black/white color scheme. As such I donít mind it. In fact, I embraced it and added more red accents (driven captive wheel spacers, oil fill cap, rotor bolts/sprocket bolts/nuts, and a few other things). The white zx10 comes with green oem I think.

Dude, my eye is drawn to that red tube immediately every time i look at the bike. Color looks good too. I feel more at peace now when i look at it instead of enraged. Never cared much for anodized red and you can never have enough green! I like DIY cheap tricky bits like this though! Nicely done Sky!
I think white or a Ti look would rock too, but thats just me.

I've always kinda liked the red cartridges, the green looks just as good though.

Since you've gotten rid of that red on the cartridge, you gotta color match the "brembo" lettering ha.(Not really just messing, but it is a thought!)

Looks great, I had the same issue with my 2012 (No external gas cartridge) but I switched the fork tubes out for a set of black and green ones from the 2014. I like the green matches nicely, but there seems to be something missing from it. Does the wrap / sticker go above the cartridge itself? Seems like it is slightly larger the the length of the tube. Either way, looks great and nice and easy fix!

The more you learn, the more you realize how little you know.

Thanks for making the thread and posting up the pics SkyDork. Bike looks super good!

This option could also be duplicated using any combination of colors for people who like a different color scheme.
