Much of the magic that happens internally in motorcycle suspension is due to hydraulic valving. Paul Thede at Race Tech offers excellent solutions to stock valving components on the latest forks and shocks. Sure Ohlins has the TTX or twin tube technology but conventional stock components are not that bad when the valving is figured out. And of course the spring rate.

So if anyone is mechanically inclined and has $175 for a Goldvalve shock kit and or $250 for a Glodvalve fork kit. You'll find these products to be very satisfactory. I use them and have no affiliation with Race Tech. I also have Ohlins components on a couple bikes. I find the difference to be negligible. And I do you have the skills to put them to the test in the dirt and on the street track.
