Rust / pitting on my black rims . Need advice

Bought this 2012 zx10r about a week ago thought it was thick chain lube gunked up on the rims didn’t think too much of it at first . Went to go clean em and it looks like it’s pitting / rust .

How do I go about fixing / removing it with out ruining the rims ? Any chance of saving these?

Thanks

wire brush it and touch up paint

Have them power coated

Leave them like they are....clean as best as you can and use a touch up pen.

I think stock wheels are painted. You could try wet sanding and buffing and it might help. But probably be easier to strip em and pc/paint em.
