I am getting 90 to 100 miles before I have to fill up. The stress of going on a long ride with stations few and far between make me not enjoy the ride so much. SOOOOO I may take some
of the money I earn from my job and piss it away on a 2g plus tank. WAIT TILL you see the luggage I bought and won't use.

lol

Also if you are digging deep into her the best I get on the street is 82 miles per fill up...now thats allot of High reving top end runs....lots of fill ups especially when DC to Baltimore is 47 miles off the brake.

When in chill mode I can squeeze out about 118 miles per fill up and thats about 4.2 gallons.

My race bike gets about 70 miles a fill up if that.

my daily driving I get about 120 mile to the tank and fill up at 3.4 gallons.

I would dig this tank...Just wish it was at an even 8 gallons. I could then do a Vegas run in one shot and get it easily in the 2 hour mark from the OC.

I wish there was a way to get the 2 side by side gas tank lids on a regular tank....I should look into that.

Good design project but 2 galllons is extra ballast and makes bike top heavy hence higher centre of gravity. Handling would be inconsistent.:headshake . The Ten doesnt need any help tipping in.

I have a Yoshi endurance tank on my gixxer,it's really light and it actually extends lower in the frame and helps keep the weight closer to the center of gravity...
The Gen4 has that setup allready, since the stock tank is under the seat,3kg lighter is a lot of weight saved if you are looking to make the bike lighter!

I will also tell you a secret! 24lt tank work as well with only 10lt of fuel in them! You don't have to fill it up!
