Manual wouldn't say to weld the frame, it'd tell you to replace it.

Suppose you should follow the manual then...

My 05 1st gen 10R has right around 100k miles on it.

Valves have been checked a few times but never upgraded the retainers like some here are claiming you must.

Stock brakes besides pazzo levers.

Leaking valve cover gasket is pretty common if you hold it WFO.

Frame has been welded once a few years ago, had this bike since 06. Starting to crack again, which will happen if the roads you ride aren't smooth & you do wheelies.

04's had generator issues

Enjoy & be careful, it's no gixer or CBR. The green is only a little slower then the magma

Yeah, figured that out pretty quick. I had the 01 GSXR and the 929 CBR and the ZX10R has more power than the GSXR thou and a shorter wheelbase than the Blade which was a bit flighty anyway. Kind of feels like someone put 160bhp at the rear wheel of my old SRAD 750. Its nuts...but it a good way.
