Hi All,

Replacing a front sprocket with JT Sprockets JT1537.17

One side is flat with no text, the other has text stamped and a (flange?) projection.

Which side faces the engine?

For Future Reference.

Below are my question and reply from Richard Brice of jtsprockets.com :

2011 ZX-10R, Front sprocket JTF1537.17

Which side faces the engine? The side with the writing and the projection? or the flat, blank side? Can't find much info on the web. Thanks.
It is normally the side with the number.

You should still check to be sure the sprockets and chain are all parallel before riding and there is always the possibility of a sprocket getting stamped incorrectly.

Regards,

Richard
