Pushed a couple times early on in my riding career. Pushed a 95 zx6r about a mile both times - worst suck ever! In gear no less. On a summer day. Probably will never go back to carbs.

I've never heard of em to be honest but hell after reading those reviews they seem to be good. BUT there are only like 7 reviews. Very easy to make some fake reviews, which is what happens with some products on amazon.

But I mean it is only $52 bucks versus $100+ for a ricks stator which is what I went with.
Even if that $52 stator lasts a year or two I don't think that's too bad for 50 bucks lol. Let us know if you get that one and how it works out!

I think I'm going to go for it. The Genuine Kawasaki ones are so expensive, it seems like a no brainer to me.

Looks like aftermarket stator options are Caltric, RM, and Rick's. Caltric being the cheapest and Rick's the most expensive. Maybe a get what you pay for kind of thing, but reviews seem to be a wash.

sorry to revive an old thread.

Just an opinion on Caltric Stators: I've got about 11,000 miles on one so far.

I think the Shorai failed first (it was already replaced once under warranty) and I returned to a sealed AGM battery. Shortly thereafter the stator failed and I got home (about 25 miles) on battery alone. Installed the Caltric and all is well so far. Wondering If i should have the OEM re-wound.

I'm sorry to report bad experience with the Shorai on my Gen4, it was great for years on my 1st Gen! (R.I.P.)
