2014 to 2016 Z1000 tail light. I am ordering a smoked one with integrated lights also.

I used a standard assortment of brackets Cycle Gear sell, and used a Flip tag lol

you don't reckon you could take a photo of the new cam chain tensioner by chance?

Interested to know what they changed as its a new part on the 2016.

also going to go out on a limb and say the 2016 headers and 2011-2015 have the same diameter going off the parts list for the 2016 and 2011-2015.

They both use the same gasket between the headers and the pre chamber (boom box) part number 11061-0448 GASKET,54X62X30 which would give the same seal on both the Gen 4 and Gen 5. One note although the headers may bolt up the same you will still need to factor in the extra distance that the headstock offset and potentially swingarm have on the length of the bike.

you make interesting notes, my gen4 cam chain tensioner was defective. the spring was not working.

Maybe the gen5 headers could be a improvement for the gen4 since the head-headers diameter is the same.
