Got my new wheel today !

Well I went into my dealer here on the Gold Coast Qld Australia last Saturday to ask him about the recall. He hadnt heard anything about the recall and basically called me an idiot for believing everything i read on the internet

Well after a rather heated discussion where I explained that I've worked in IT for 15+ years and been on the "internet" in its various evoultionary forms for more years than I care to remember and that I can easily tell when somethin is [smilie=b: and for real.

To cut a long story short he finally rang me back on Wednesday and said yep its for real and he has entered my VIN and expects the wheel soon. Noting that in Australia there has only been 60 wheels allocated in the first batch. Well today i got a phone call from my dealer and yep my wheel was in.. Rushed down and its now ON!

So basically for me from finding out about the recal and getting a new wheel was 6 days!! My dealer bent over backwards to get me in his good books again so its all [smilie=3:

Did you notice anything different with the new wheel? Maybe better balance?

Well, got the notice in the mail today from Kawi. I then immed. called my dealer and set up an app. for 8/20 to get the new wheel. He told me while speaking with him he had sold all 5 10's that he had gotten and i'm first on the list. He stated it was just waiting for the wheels to arrive at this point. He did tell me it was possible even by then he may or may not have them and if that was the case he would call and i'd have to reschedule for a later date. Overall i'm satisfied with this result as he can only do so much, the rest is up to Kawi. STILL RIDIN' TILL THEN.

BIKES IS GOOD.

Something else that needs mentioning is the replacement wheel is (according to my dealer) coming with 10 rotor bolts, new bearings, seals, spacer and valve stem.
When someone takes delivery of their new wheel would you confirm this.

BD, I hope you're correct, as I don't want the techs trying to remove/replace my spacer(s) and bearings.
