Got a call from the dealer on Friday 6/8 and they told me about the recall and said they had a wheel waiting for me. How good is that. I'm taking it in on Tuesday to get it done. Since I live in Australia I thought I'd have to wait a month or so but it seems we are on a level playing field.

Big daddy - Take a look at the pic. As you can see, they left all that on the old wheel.

I saw the Kawa information and the wheel kit, 99999-0043? 1 x new wheel complete with new bearings, seals and the internal spacer. A complete set of front brake disc bolts, 3 different balancing weights and a new rubber tubeless valve.

The only part they use from your bike is the front tire and it may be time to get a new one while they are changing the tire.

I heard Honda Japan announced recall on the 03-04 CBR600RR for corrossion problem in the back brake which may affect performance.

So even Honda have recalls.
