Gen4 triple on Gen5

Hey guys! Any knowledgeable folks know if i can throw a gen4 front end on to gen5? I did hear something about headstock change and inserts but not 100%

Yes you could, i don't know why you'd want to though. Gen5 frontend is far superior to gen4 front end. You would need forks and tripple

Good idea to replace everything if you have gen4 race forks, race calipers, wheel because separately they are not compatible.
Forks in clamps on gen5 are few mm more apart too.
Maybe someone can measure gen5 clamp shaft diameters and length. I can measure gen4 stock clamp shaft.

Gen4 race: high spec.
Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa 2013: stock.
Kawasaki KX450F 2016: love it.

You're giving up better suspension and braking in the conversion. Not really a swap i'd do, but if you are gonna do it, DIBs on your gen5 front end, hell i'll trade you my gen4 front. lol

It's just a matter of needing a front end and getting a cheap deal on an entire Gen 4 front end. Take a step backwards to get two steps forward.

have seen gen4 with the entire gen5 front end...

I would guess that your gen5 would fit the gen4 front end (triples and forks)....

Im in the middle of converting my Gen 4 Race Bike into a Gen 5...
I have the Gen 5 for street.

I was going to make a thread once I work on the front.
Tail section took a while.
