I'll have Justin peek at it.

You should be fine in the mean time until he has more time to look at it. It shouldn't throw off your fuel maps as the data filters, by default, will filter out any high values like that. Similar to when you use the quickshifter; you'll see the spike coincide with the shift in the data viewer screen, but when you go to actually apply the AT data, it filters it out so it doesn't throw things off.

Chiffee can you post or email me that .WRL file? I need to see the entire data log so I can see what lines are what here.

But I did ask Justin about it, and this is what he said:

hi mate, is it just after the roll off the throttle?
this is pretty normal and not fuel cut
fuel cut is a long period of injector cut with 0 throttle
the spike when you first roll of the throttle is , to my understanding, more due to what is physically happening with the bike, ie, you have a lot of air pumping into the engine
you roll the throttle off
injector flow is substantially reduced
but there is still a proportionally larger air flow into the engine
result - short lean spike

I did e-mail you that file , and now it made sense most of the spike are when shifting and rolling off the throttle in few places , when looking at it live with pc at neutral there is no spike when rolling off , it keeps 14-15 A/F ,so thanks for the info ,and i will E-mail that file again.

21AFR is what my Gen 3 recorded BEFORE the fuel cut delete was added and my graph looked exactly like yours.

After the fuel cut delete was added, it never spikes above 14.5.

That doesn't look nothing like my Gen 3 does. That doesnt look like its working to me, but alas, there may be big differences between Gen 3 and Gen 5 fuel cut, but I don't think so.

Yes the FTECU software it disables the cut. I'm using the Graves full system map. This is the best this bike has ever felt..

I sent Justin some test data from two different sets of my own personal data; one when I was on the dyno doing ETV and timing adjustments back in May and then one of my last rides of the season when using a special test ECU image we were working with.

I see spikes as I expected when coming off throttle on the dyno with the OEM image (-1128 ECU) with the fuel cut not disabled. These match what I see in Chiffee's log.

When I look at the logs with the special test image I am using where fuel cut is eliminated, albeit differently, it doesn't have that spike. So Justin was going to do some tinkering and ragging on his bike to get the fuel cut to match exactly to what we have in the special ECU image.

So fuel cut disable is not working as intended then, that's a shame
