it has blue loctite already around the seal. you don't need to add any oil. Goes in alot easier than coming out.

the manual says to drive the oil seal in with a bearing driver. those are just the flat disks right? then it says to drive the mechanical seal in with a seal driver. the illustration looks like maybe the mechanic seal driver is hollow like a socket and goes around the seal only touching the metal lip flange. am I seeing that correctly? do I drive the mechanical seal in by pressing it in by the top rubber or am i using a socket and going around it and only touching the metal lip when driving it in?
