If you watch this video straight from Vortex Kawasaki ZX-10R 2.0 Rear Set - YouTube at the 0:16 second mark you'll notice they have the brake light switch dangling right behind the frame/rearset mounts, not attached to the brake lever, or secured...meaning no factory brake light switch. Also if you go to their website, https://www.vortexracing.com/shop/pr...35/1924/28/53/ there's no mention of working with the factory brake switch on the product detail page, but they do offer the brake pressure switch, and the brake side photo shows the same detail the video does of the factory switch dangling behind the frame/rearset mount...which is exactly my experience with these rearsets. In no way am I complaining about this lol, I've been very happy with all the Vortex products I've bought, but I want people to know that Jake's statement is not the experience I'm having...it'd be great to get a response from Vortex for clarification.

Sublime, I so have a 2008 GSXR1000 but with Woodcraft Rearsets on it.
My new bike is a 2016 Zx10r and is what the 403 model Vortex rearsets are getting installed on.
I haven't done my rearsets yet. I have been slowly picking away at installing my mods (BMC race air filter, Puig windscreen, Yosh frame sliders, R&G front axle sliders, G&B engine case covers, CNC rear LED signals, Yosh tail tidy, stomp grips.
Gearing and new chain- 520 Superlight Steel Chain Kit with EST Tech: 16/41 : EK 3D Gold)
I will have all the new stock chain and gearing if anyone wants it for cheap.

here's my vortex rearsets mounted... and yes there's nothing there to allow the stock brake light switch to be installed.

I double checked with Jake, he replied the rearset will use the factory brake light switch.
So either Jake got his facts mixed up or there are multiple rearset revisions floating out there or you made a mistake.

Guess what I asked again and Jake said you need to buy Vortex (RS100) 10mm x 1.25 Thread Pitch In-Line Brake Light Pressure Switchto get back the rear light funcitonality. Makes you wonder why he did not say that in the first place.

I don't think any rearsets can beat Attack's in terms of form, function and value.
