i was so use to buying bulk on filters for both my kaws....now ill have to have one for the 2011 and the 2016.

Interesting. I run the K&N oil filter and used the same filter on my GEN5 as on my GEN4. I am pretty sure I looked it up on K&N's web site. I guess I better do some more research.

EDIT: Yep, K&N filters are the same for both GENs:

I have a feeling that once the 16097-0008 supply runs out they will supersede to the 0011 filter.

You are very correct....I use KN for race wiring and they are the same 303.

The track is my HAPPY PLACE!

I made the 1000km/600mile check, and I asked to kawa official dealer, he said me that during tech update for mechanical, kawa teach that the new filter is able to support the higher pump pressure of the '16 model.

My dealer said that you should run the latest Kwak filter - they have had a few blow up on 2014 filters allegedly

I tried to make a comparison with the cams stock and race gen4 and gen5 and the info was very confusing... I would like the service manual and the kit manual.
