Just wondering if the 15,000 mile service is something i have to take to a shop or if can be done in my garage. coming up on the service but dont want to pay for labor if i can order the parts and do it myself.
Also I've done alot of work on my 2011 but haven't touch the brakes at all. If anyone has any advice let me hear it. Thanks
Bwa ha ha! The only thing I ever have done at my dealership is mount new tires onto my rims. You can do almost every maintenance and repair necessary in your own garage using standard metric automotive tools.
We have to do a 15k service? 0 I changed the oil at 30k and had to fill the water thingie a couple times; changed out the chain off my deceased g4, and that's about it for my entire time up to present with 31k plus.
Don't ever trust dealers.. I have a few buddies I ride with that worked at dealerships and they said when other bikes came in for valve adjustments all they did was listen to it and if it sounded fine they send it on its way.
