Sadly I can't really tell, the only tires I had were S21 and RS10. Since I ride in the rain and cold 40% of the time, I went for the harder tire for 3 times now I'm I never looked back.

Good information. I think I'll try the S21s this time. I'm looking at it for the same reasons you are, plus as I said, I commute on a fair bit of slab day to day. Sounds like the tire for the job since I still like to have fun.

They take about a thousand miles or two to get flatter in the middle when on the highway, but I toughed two sets to 7,500 miles each (last set definitely went overboard before I could get to the real twisties).
The first picture (less used) is my last S21 set. Mostly straight roads, but still 7,500 miles (cold, always colder than 85F outside here and often in the wet).

The second picture is my buddy's RS10 on a '16 Gen 5 after our daily twisties, while my tires were pretty much still in mint condition this time around.

S21's

Don't even want to get into how many diff tires I've tried in
last couple of years. S21's are a great bang for the buck.

I think they're way better tire then the Q3, which I ran too.

I run them for my track only Gen2 and also run them on the street
on my zx14 around $220 a set, spring rebates get them down around $170

Running upper B group / Low A group pace with no problems.

Had great luck with pilot road 2's. They say the road 5's are even better.

Wanted to try something different so currently running metzler roadtec 01's. If they're sticky enough for Canada they should be fine in Cali

If its got tits or tires it'll give u problems

I just did a track day on S21s. I would recommend at least trying them when the rebate is available.
