They aren't that overpowering though... it's not bad. :+1: I don't think it's out of control, but I'm not surprised cuz this is what happens when you're trying to earn revenue from advertising.

I kinda did. Still waiting on swag from december It's Ironic isn't it....a Guy name Rich started out with a few members and created the Biggest ZX10R site :dontknow:.....but he never got the Sponsors staying or needed to stay the Course because maybe this is a Focus ZX10R site. The site got HUGE but the bills increased and T-Shirt sales didn't pay the bills. It made sense for Rich to sell the site but he tried his best to make sure the advertising is not as bad as other sites. If you log-on to the site it gets better, if not it's worse and I know so are others but it really isn't as bad as I thought it would be when first started. It maybe that we all got so use to being one of the few sites left that did not have advertising compared to the others and got spoiled and now some are having to adjust from what they were use to for many years. It's changing times and some need to give Rich props he held out for years spending his own money to prevent or become like other sites with advertisements but success like this forum brings attention to others that can pay the Bills and it was just a matter of time to have advertising...it's the Internet way I guess when your get this big. :badteeth: As far as the Swag we need to work on that but just saying that doesn't pay the all bills and this is a FREE site. bloo

It ain't bad. Go to kawiforums, it's annoying as fck over there. Since I'm in this thread, I wanna say thank you to Rich for creating this site, and most importantly, thank you to Kawasaki for making such an epic bike (the 04-05 of course:thumbsup:) :occasion1

First off I use a mac so perhaps I don't get pop ups or w/e you guys are really bitching about. I'm all for ads as long as there motorcycle related. I mean the sponsor for one are a big plus. I only use 2 forums this and bcsportbikes. The only thing it has over this forum is on going group ride events but it's a local forum so that's to be expected. The sponsors here are awesome. They seem way more involved. Besides the only ads I really see here are the sponsors so quit bitching and upgrade your bike!

There are more ads but they arent that bad. Mad props to Rich for starting and paying for a site that I love to visit nearly everyday. Thanks to all the mods for helping to keep it that way. I have word from some members that they have recieved their swag from the site so I think thats getting better. IMHO its still a great forum even with a few ad banners here and there.

The problem is when people see things as a right, rather than a privilidge. I am grateful for the privilidge of using this site for free. Anybody who thinks buying a T Shirt pays their way, needs to re-evaluate the whole deal. This site costs money, it needs to come from somewhere other than Rich's pocket.

i would be for different levels of memberships like other websites. Still have a free membership but offer something more for people willing to pay.

T-shirts pay for calipers though right cuhuba???:badteeth::thumbsup:

Pretty sure the same company Verticalscope now owns this place as well as kawiforums. They attempt to buy up every message board with any value that they can

Its a huge site, and alot of supporting members, I have been on forums where they take monthly donations. Whatever anyone wants to give and they are quite succesful that way.
