This thread will serve as the t-shirt and logo thread for the 2010 ZX-10R Rally at the Dragon. We need to come up with a logo, as well as the wording for t-shirts. we could probably incorporate the design into a sticker too. Hopefully we have someone good with illustrator, or what ever you need for this. Joker 008 will be in charge of getting the quotes for t-shirts and handling all of the design requirements. Do you guys want a cool shirt with a design that you actually like? This is your chance to have a say in the final outcome, so speak up! The tshirts will be silk-screen printed and have a (at most) 4 color design. The guy making the shirt stated it will cost between 7 to 9 dollars per shirt. This is cost price, I am not looking to make any money off this. At the rally I will even bring the invoice to verify for others to see.

On the back of the shirt should be a Dragon.... over the top I would put: 1st Annual Dragon Rally then a picture or outline of a dragon, some samples here... and underneath the picture the date :occasion1:occasion1

Don't over complicate it, keep it simple for a T-Shirt, looks much better that way and is easier to recognize later :thumbsup: I'm still looking for more ideas...:occasion1

think if they were designed in time and pre-ordered how about adding you screen name on your personal shirt?? maybe across the top back like a jersey... just a thought

:+1: I agree, I like that design. We need someone with adobe illustrator or whatever program and the skills to start throwing some ideas together. Things to include: 1st annual ZX-10R Rally The dates The area Graphics Maybe we could give a free registration to the author of the design chosen.

Here's a few quickies based on the one pic liked by most. A full redraw would be required to get rid of the jagged edges. They are done both on in 3D and flat.

i just text a friend of mine who designs t-shirts for his co. called team world i sent him a couple of pics of what we are looking to make he loves doing tribal stuff like the blue-green dragon pic so give me a couple of days to see what he can do

I also think that 1st annual should be included too. Do we want the shirt to be a front and back, or just front? Maybe the pocket could have something about 1st annual zx-10r rally or whatever. I think there was only about 10 shirts spoken for and no money collected (it wasn't asked for either). Only printing ten shirts with the three color front and back design was very expensive, if you can even find someone who would do it. There is a separate screen required for color for front and back. Simplifying the design still didn't help much. Now that we are upon the week of the rally, there has been more interest expressed. I planned on talking to members that made it to rally about going forward with a t-shirt. Most printers that I talked to had a minimum of 20-25 shirts. What do you guys think? Prices would probably be closer to $20, depending on final number.

Im game for whatever. If we do shirts, count me in for 2, just let me know who or where to send the money to. See you guys this weekend

I can't make it down, due to time issues, but would also take 2 T-shirts (medium), have my buddy bring 'em back for me or mail it... whatever works, I'll pay with PayPal up front if needed.
