I´m 30 years old and about to buy a new bike. I´m looking towards a ´05 6R. I´ve ridden a lot in the past, mostly motocross bikes, but also one GPZ 900R and one Fireblade. But i haven´t been on a bike for 7 years. At first i wanted the zx-10r but i suppose it would be a really stupid choice (for me) so i think of getting the 6R. I also want to take some track courses. What do you guys think... is the 6R a good choice for me??? :dontknow:

Hey Anthony welcome onboard. I think it's wise that you decided against the 10R as an entry back into street bikes. These modern 600's are more than capable of keeping a grin on your face for a long time. If you think you're ready for a hard core sportbike go for it.

I guess a 600 sportbike nowadays aint the same as then. And I like curves better than the straights. I would probably end up in the trees with the 10. I´m pretty heavy though, about 210. Does that matter a lot with the 6?
