Well I need to put bike bike out if the field and shoot it. I did a rollon test with a friend with a (ok are you sitting down) R6 I was in second he was in third, we both drop the hammer and were side by side for a bit then he (the R6) walks away from me, I was thinking "ok I got something really wrong with my bike to be walked on by a 600". To back up here I bought my bike back in May so its broked in. I dynoed it wonce at a dyno day at the shop and it made 148 this with a jardine slip on so I was a little bummed but thought hell its still fast and fun to ride. It seem as though over time it is slowing down ( making less power) Last week it wouldnt go faster then 154mph, it just stade at 154mph and the rpm would not climb. Too me it seem as though the rings or bearings where going but there good so my next though it the computer. Anyone have anything like this happen or here of happening?

Warranty ... There is always a reason for stuff happening. You need to find it. This is not easily done over the internet.

Sounds like your clutch is slipping. If it was rings you would be seeing some smoke.

somethin is wrong man, my gf rides and 04 r6 with stacks, slip on and she weighs 110 fully geared, my 10 only has a slip on and im 190 lbs geared and i have no trouble pulling her. from a 60 roll on both in 3rd (im givin her an advantage) she pulls about a bike length lead on the hit but once i hit about 100 mph and the revs come up i come up on her quickly and i mean very quickly, by the end of third were neck and neck and once i click 4th gear im ghost. when we do a roll on were were both in the correct gear its not even a race. and she eats up guys on 600's all the time cause of her size, theres somethin wrong here bro.

I don't think it was his clutch slipping. wouldn't his r's keep climbing? IMO I would start simple... air filter plugged, bad gas from the winter, exhaust butterfly valve not opening. but get it to the dealer and let kawi know.

my new zx only put down 148.5 on dyno after gentle break in of approx 650 miles. I expect it to loosen up and make more power, am I dreamin or what. My old 954 with full leo sys and pc 111 made 142 on same dyno, talk about dissapointed. who's got one o them souped up for the magazine bikes, numbers anyone?
