its alright, but to be honest my opinion, the only reason i would get an exhaust that retains the boom box is if it were just for sound. but if you're going to spend that much money on a slip on then might as well get a full slip on that eliminates the "boom Box" and adds some power! Just my opinion and i know those of you who have had the bike know already but those that just get this bike and are still researching, thats mainly my target of reaching out. But its definitely a quality work of an exhaust and good brand

V&H took the easy, cheap way out by using a band strap around the muffler body instead of a welded mounting tab- like FMF. No replacement mid-pipe either. V&H may sell a ton of slip-ons to the HD crowd but they haven't made anything for the non cruiser crowd for decades.

man that last pipe does not look good IMO but could grow on a person, I like the style of pipe thats on the Kawasaki MOTO GP bike would love to have one of those style of Akra's but im sure those would be some serious $$$ LOL the IXIL looks kinda like a Two Bro's pipe.

Well I have the Two bro's and like it. I will be making a bracket to hold on the last piece of plastic because I like it covered but have not done it yet. yeah I had the Two Bros on my bike for less than prob 500 miles on it, then took it off put the M4 on it I just like the look of the small GP syle cans. those Two Bros sound good thats for sure.
