So I got my new cox guard in the mail today, and it took all of 5 mins to install. Definitely worth the $65 from site sponsors. Thanks!
Anyway thought I would post up some pics of the after install since I haven't seen any good close ups of the guard installed anywhere when I was looking to do this mod. Here they are:

It covers 100% of the fins. If I didn't have the spacers on, it would fit perfectly over the fined area, exactly where you need it to be. Maybe, I should take a straight on shot to show the full coverage, instead of side shots.

Wish I would have picked one up earlier, and maybe this wouldn't have happened:

:thumbsup:hmmm... it doesnt cover 100% of the rad ?
maybe optical illusion due to rubber pads creating air space cushion between guard and rad to absorb impact, wouldnt want it flush against fins as hard impact would be trnasfered thru gaurd to fins my guess,

I also just put one on my bike last week , had to safety wire the install they only give you some stick pads and zip ties , the guard fits good but IMO the way the guard mounts has a lot to be desired too bad cause the fit and quality is excellent
ever take a good look at the radiater kawi put on the 08-09 ZX 10R lol.........

a rad guard is one of the first things i have put on every bike i've purchased over the past 10 years...before that i never really thought much about it.....guess as i have got older i try to be a little more cautious....never understood why these bikes don't come with one or that the manufactures don't make one and offer it as an option...seems they could make a pretty good profit.....not that they need to make more money off of us already..
