That's why I own more than one bike. When one's in the shop, I ride the other one.

That's why I own more than one bike. When one's in the shop, I ride the other one. Well, that's why I try to do as much on my bike so it doesn't sit in some garage while they wait on parts and get off their buts to fix mine which isn't always done right. :headshake For example, I found out my Coolant Pump is bad and needed to talk to 2 dealers to find one that actually thinks it's covered under warranty. Then when 1 of them finally admits it SHOULD be(no guarantees) they said they have to inspect first and then order parts and may be a week or 2. I'm like fugg that I got a setup for a used one with low miles for $40 and for all I know they will charge me for NEW Coolant and Oil because the manual says you have to Drain the oil for coolant pump removal which I know is not true, then they will most likely give me a Bill for $60+ for oil and coolant for something I can do in about 30min. :badteeth:

The only thing that I absolutely don't do myself is the valve adjustment on the Ducati because that is something I don't know, and major engine work, only because I don't have the time to do it.
